TUTOR KIDS N’ MORE LLC WAS CREATED TO SERVE ALL TYPES OF FAMILIES IN NEED OF academic, child development, and overall educational consulting guidance or support. the founder, kiana davis, focuses on learning how to understand the minds of her students in order to best support retainment of the information they are learning. most of all, Kiana believes that learning in A FUN AND NEGATIVITY FREE ENVIRONMENT IS KEY TO OVERLL SUCCESS AT ANY AGE.
FURTHERMORE, THE FOUNDER, KIANA DAVIS, IS A LONG TIME EDUCATOR WHO BELIEVES THAT TUTORING AND MENTORSHIP IS MOST SUCCESSFUL WHEN APPROACHED IN A PROACTIVE RATHER THAN REACTIVE WAY.
About The Owner & Founder, Kiana L. Davis:
KIANA BEGAN WORKING AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT AT CHILDREN ON THE GREEN DAYCARE center in morristown, NJ DURING HER HIGH SCHOOL YEARS STARTING AT AGE 14. THIS WAS THE SAME DAYCARE SHE ATTENDED AS A PRE-K STUDENT. SHE GREW UP WITH THE GOAL OF WORKING THERE ONE DAY, & MUCH LIKE WITH HER COMPANY, SHE MADE IT HAPPEN.
now more than 17 years later, Kiana IS A TRAVELING PRIVATE TUTOR, mentor, AND CHILDCARE PROVIDER WITH an abundance OF invaluable EDUCATIONAL AND CHILD development EXPERIENCE. she has provided virtual services to students across state lines and worked in dozens of public schools all over northern, nj. KIANA HAS taught IN a variety of public and private academic SETTINGS WITH CHILDREN ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM, THOSE DIAGNOSED WITH ADHD, BILINGUAL CHILDREN, AND MORE. Kiana took the leap to leave public schools in 2023 and has been FULL-TIME entrepreneur ever since. despite it’s difficulties, kiana knows that she is meant to share her gifts with her students to inspire them to continue sharing their own gifts with the world.
KIANA COMPLETED HER TEACHING PROGRAM AT MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY, WHERE SHE GAINED A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN FAMILY AND CHILD STUDIES WITH A NJ K-6 TEACHING CERTIFICATION (FOUND ON THE CREDENTIALS PAGE) IN JANUARY OF 2017.
SHE LATER FOUNDED TUTOR KIDS N’ MORE LLC IN SEPTEMBER OF 2017 AND HAS HAPPILY SUPPORTED hundreds of students/families SINCE. KIANA IS CURRENTLY earning a MASTERS IN CLINICAL MENTAL HEALTH & SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER COUNSELING at montclair state university (GRADUATING SPRING 2026).
Education
Received a High School Diploma from Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ.
Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in school settings (K-6) from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ. Grades K-6 Elementary School Teaching Certificate pictured below.
Graduated with a 3.48 GPA from the university in Jan 2017, maintaining position on the Dean’s List semesters Spring ’13 through Fall ’16.
Currently enrolled in Montclair State University’s CACREP Accredited Graduate Counseling Program, studying Clinical Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Counseling (maintaining a 3.9 GPA).
